Overview
Obstetrician/Gynecologist is
abbreviated as OB/GYN and attends as primary physicians & consultants to

and testing.
· Bone Density Test - to determine if you have low bone mass (osteopenia or osteoporosis).
· Colposcopy – to check for abnormal cervix
· Endocervical Curettage (ECC) – to identify missing abnormal tissue.
· Hysterosalpingography - to outline any irregularities of the uterine wall
· Mammogram – low dose X-ray.
· Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - to identify the location of uterine fibroids.
· Pelvic Ultrasound - to evaluate disorders such as uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts.
· Toluidine Blue Dye Test - to evaluate abnormal changes in the vulva.
· Fluid-Contrast Ultrasound (FCUS) - to evaluate the lining of the uterus and the uterine cavity.
· Vaginal Culture - involves collecting cervical mucus to identify the cause of an infection.
Not all tests are necessary for everyone. Depending upon the patient’s condition and disease the tests are performed.
